Invisible grills in Orathur – at a glance
What is an invisible grill?
An invisible grill is a row of thin stainless steel cables fixed across a balcony, window or terrace opening and held in an aluminium track. From a few steps away the cables almost disappear, so light, air and your view stay open while the opening becomes safe.
Families in Orathur choose invisible grills to protect small children and pets, stop falls from high-rise balconies and keep a clean, modern look instead of heavy box grills.
For an Orathur home, start by identifying the purpose: child safety, pet protection or pigeon control. Bird netting should not be treated as a substitute for a fall-protection system. Ask the installer to check wall strength, fixing points and gaps around the edges. Choose materials suited to outdoor sun and rain, and discuss cleaning access before fitting. If considering invisible grills, check spacing and whether the design affects window operation or an emergency exit.
