Invisible grills in Vallam – at a glance
What is an invisible grill?
An invisible grill is a row of thin stainless steel cables fixed across a balcony, window or terrace opening and held in an aluminium track. From a few steps away the cables almost disappear, so light, air and your view stay open while the opening becomes safe.
Families in Vallam choose invisible grills to protect small children and pets, stop falls from high-rise balconies and keep a clean, modern look instead of heavy box grills.
Before choosing nets or grills for your Vallam home, get each opening measured and discuss whether your main concern is child safety, pet safety or pigeons. Ask about material suitability for outdoor exposure, fixing methods and access for cleaning. If you live in an apartment, check association rules before drilling into shared exterior walls. Keep any emergency access clear, and arrange a check if you notice loose fittings, damaged mesh or corrosion after heavy rain.
