Invisible grills in Nemmeli – at a glance
What is an invisible grill?
An invisible grill is a row of thin stainless steel cables fixed across a balcony, window or terrace opening and held in an aluminium track. From a few steps away the cables almost disappear, so light, air and your view stay open while the opening becomes safe.
Families in Nemmeli choose invisible grills to protect small children and pets, stop falls from high-rise balconies and keep a clean, modern look instead of heavy box grills.
For a Nemmeli home, ask about UV-resistant netting and corrosion-resistant grill cables and fittings suited to coastal exposure. Explain whether your main concern is children, pets or pigeons, since mesh size and cable spacing need different consideration. Have the installer check wall strength, corner gaps and access for cleaning before deciding the layout. Keep any required emergency access clear, inspect fittings after strong winds or heavy rain, and remember that barriers do not replace adult supervision.
