Invisible grills in Tirukalukundram – at a glance
What is an invisible grill?
An invisible grill is a row of thin stainless steel cables fixed across a balcony, window or terrace opening and held in an aluminium track. From a few steps away the cables almost disappear, so light, air and your view stay open while the opening becomes safe.
Families in Tirukalukundram choose invisible grills to protect small children and pets, stop falls from high-rise balconies and keep a clean, modern look instead of heavy box grills.
Before choosing nets or grills for your Tirukalukundram home, ask the installer to measure each opening and check the condition of the fixing surfaces. Explain whether your main concern is children, pets or pigeons, as the material and spacing should suit that purpose. Ask how the fittings handle sun, rain and corrosion, particularly where exposed to coastal wind. Keep drainage outlets and necessary access points clear, and arrange checks for loose anchors, damaged mesh or slack wires.
