Invisible grills in Mahabalipuram – at a glance
What is an invisible grill?
An invisible grill is a row of thin stainless steel cables fixed across a balcony, window or terrace opening and held in an aluminium track. From a few steps away the cables almost disappear, so light, air and your view stay open while the opening becomes safe.
Families in Mahabalipuram choose invisible grills to protect small children and pets, stop falls from high-rise balconies and keep a clean, modern look instead of heavy box grills.
Before choosing a net or invisible grill for your Mahabalipuram home, identify whether you need child protection, pet safety or pigeon control; these require different specifications. Ask about suitability for sunlight, rain and salty coastal air, along with the fixing method for your wall or railing. Check gaps carefully, especially for small pets, and keep necessary access clear. After strong winds or heavy rain, look for loose fittings, wear or corrosion and arrange an inspection if needed.
