Invisible grills in Kattavakkam – at a glance
What is an invisible grill?
An invisible grill is a row of thin stainless steel cables fixed across a balcony, window or terrace opening and held in an aluminium track. From a few steps away the cables almost disappear, so light, air and your view stay open while the opening becomes safe.
Families in Kattavakkam choose invisible grills to protect small children and pets, stop falls from high-rise balconies and keep a clean, modern look instead of heavy box grills.
Before choosing nets or invisible grills for your Kattavakkam home, identify the main need: child safety, pet protection or bird exclusion. Ask the installer to check the wall, railing and available fixing points rather than selecting only by appearance. Discuss mesh openings or wire spacing, particularly for small pets. Choose materials suitable for outdoor sun and rain, and keep access for cleaning and repairs. After heavy rain or strong winds, look for loose fittings or visible damage.
