Invisible grills in Gowrivakkam – at a glance
What is an invisible grill?
An invisible grill is a row of thin stainless steel cables fixed across a balcony, window or terrace opening and held in an aluminium track. From a few steps away the cables almost disappear, so light, air and your view stay open while the opening becomes safe.
Families in Gowrivakkam choose invisible grills to protect small children and pets, stop falls from high-rise balconies and keep a clean, modern look instead of heavy box grills.
For a Gowrivakkam home, start by identifying the opening and its purpose: child safety, pet protection or pigeon control. Ask the installer to check balcony edges, wall condition and suitable fixing points before recommending a net or invisible grill. Discuss mesh size or wire spacing, especially for small pets. Choose materials suited to outdoor exposure, keep drainage and necessary access clear, and check fittings after strong wind or heavy rain. Apartment owners should also confirm association rules before installation.
