YPL Safety Nets installs safety nets and invisible grills for homes in Broadway, Central Chennai. Based in Pallikaranai, our team helps homeowners choose suitable protection for balconies, windows and other open areas.
In Broadway, balconies and windows let light and air into homes, but unprotected openings can be a concern for families with young children or pets. Safety nets or invisible grills can add a protective barrier while keeping these spaces open to ventilation. Pigeons can also settle on apartment ledges and around utility areas, making bird nets useful for keeping them out. Chennai’s strong sun, monsoon rain and coastal wind make material selection and secure fixing important. The right arrangement depends on the opening, the condition of its fixing points and how the household uses the space.
Choosing nets or grills for your Broadway home
For a Broadway home, first decide whether you need fall protection, pigeon control or both, as these require different solutions. Ask about outdoor suitability, net mesh size or grill spacing, especially if you have a small pet. Check that fixing points are sound rather than relying on loose plaster or weak fittings. In an apartment, confirm association rules before installation. Keep access for window cleaning, drainage and AC servicing, and never block an emergency exit.

Frequently asked questions – Broadway
Do you visit Broadway for measurement?
Yes. We cover Broadway and nearby areas such as T Nagar, Nandanam, Saidapet, Guindy. Call +91 96000 35014 or WhatsApp us to book a slot.
Should I choose a balcony safety net or an invisible grill for my Broadway home?
The choice depends on your balcony layout, fixing surfaces and whether your main concern is children, pets or appearance. YPL Safety Nets can discuss suitable options; neither a net nor a grill replaces adult supervision.
Can pigeon nets protect the utility area of my Broadway apartment?
A suitably fitted pigeon net can help prevent birds from entering an open utility area while allowing ventilation. The layout should preserve access to AC units, pipes and cleaning points, with checks for trapped birds or active nests before closing the opening.
How long does a balcony net installation take?
Most single-balcony jobs take a few hours. Larger apartments or invisible grills may take a day or more; we confirm the time when we quote.
Which is better for my balcony – a safety net or invisible grill?
Nets are lower cost and great against pigeons. Invisible grills are stainless steel cables that keep the view clear and suit families with children. We show you both at the site visit.
How is the price calculated?
By the area covered in square feet and the material you choose. We give you a written quote after measuring.
