YPL Safety Nets installs safety nets and invisible grills for homes in Appur, Chengalpattu district, Tamil Nadu. Based in Pallikaranai, Chennai, our team helps homeowners choose protection for balconies, windows, open ducts and other exposed spaces.
For homes in Appur, in the Chengalpattu area near Athur, the right protection depends on how each open space is used. Balconies and accessible windows need particular attention when children or pets are at home. Suitable safety nets or invisible grills can help reduce fall risks while keeping these spaces airy. Pigeons may also settle on apartment ledges and in open ducts, leaving droppings that make cleaning difficult. Sun exposure, monsoon rain and wind make material choice and secure fixing important. Each opening should be measured and checked before deciding on a net or grill.
Choosing nets or grills for your Appur home
Before choosing nets or invisible grills for your Appur home, explain whether your main concern is child safety, pets or pigeons. Bird-control netting should not be treated as fall protection. Ask the installer to assess the fixing surface, mesh opening or cable spacing, and exposure to sun and rain. For an apartment, check association rules before installation. Keep drainage, cleaning access and emergency exits clear, and arrange checks if any fixing loosens or material shows damage.

Frequently asked questions – Appur
Do you visit Appur for measurement?
Yes. We cover Appur and nearby areas such as Chengalpattu, Chengalpattu Bazaar, Chengalpattu Cutcherry, Alagesa Nagar. Call +91 96000 35014 or WhatsApp us to book a slot.
Should I choose a safety net or an invisible grill for my Appur balcony?
The choice depends on your balcony layout, fixing surfaces and whether you need protection for children or pets. YPL Safety Nets can assess the opening and discuss a suitable option; neither replaces adult supervision.
Can YPL Safety Nets help with pigeons around an Appur home's balcony or duct?
We install pigeon nets and bird spikes, with the choice depending on the opening or ledge and the access needed for maintenance. Call +91 96000 35014 between 8 AM and 8 PM, any day, to discuss your Appur home.
How long does a balcony net installation take?
Most single-balcony jobs take a few hours. Larger apartments or invisible grills may take a day or more; we confirm the time when we quote.
Which is better for my balcony – a safety net or invisible grill?
Nets are lower cost and great against pigeons. Invisible grills are stainless steel cables that keep the view clear and suit families with children. We show you both at the site visit.
How is the price calculated?
By the area covered in square feet and the material you choose. We give you a written quote after measuring.
