Invisible grills in Thiruvanmiyur – at a glance
What is an invisible grill?
An invisible grill is a row of thin stainless steel cables fixed across a balcony, window or terrace opening and held in an aluminium track. From a few steps away the cables almost disappear, so light, air and your view stay open while the opening becomes safe.
Families in Thiruvanmiyur choose invisible grills to protect small children and pets, stop falls from high-rise balconies and keep a clean, modern look instead of heavy box grills.
For a Thiruvanmiyur home, choose protection based on the opening and its purpose: pigeon netting should not be treated as a substitute for child safety protection. Ask about outdoor suitability, mesh gaps or grill spacing, and how the fittings will attach to your walls. Check apartment association rules before installation. Keep access for cleaning, drainage and outdoor AC servicing, and arrange an inspection if nets, wires or anchors look loose after windy weather.
