Invisible grills in Royapettah – at a glance
What is an invisible grill?
An invisible grill is a row of thin stainless steel cables fixed across a balcony, window or terrace opening and held in an aluminium track. From a few steps away the cables almost disappear, so light, air and your view stay open while the opening becomes safe.
Families in Royapettah choose invisible grills to protect small children and pets, stop falls from high-rise balconies and keep a clean, modern look instead of heavy box grills.
For your Royapettah home, first decide whether you need fall protection, pigeon control or a barrier for pets, as each purpose needs a suitable design. Ask about outdoor durability, mesh opening size and how the net or grill will be anchored. In apartments, check association rules before drilling into shared walls or exterior surfaces. Keep access to drains, AC units and maintenance openings clear, and arrange an inspection if fittings loosen or the material shows damage.
