Invisible grills in Parrys – at a glance
What is an invisible grill?
An invisible grill is a row of thin stainless steel cables fixed across a balcony, window or terrace opening and held in an aluminium track. From a few steps away the cables almost disappear, so light, air and your view stay open while the opening becomes safe.
Families in Parrys choose invisible grills to protect small children and pets, stop falls from high-rise balconies and keep a clean, modern look instead of heavy box grills.
For a home in Parrys, start by deciding whether you need protection for children and pets, pigeon exclusion, or both. These purposes may require different materials and gap sizes. Ask the installer to inspect the wall, frame and fixing points rather than choosing only by appearance. Discuss exposure to Chennai’s sun and rain, and keep access for cleaning and maintenance. In shared buildings, check association rules and avoid blocking emergency exits or essential service access.
