Invisible grills in Orikkai – at a glance
What is an invisible grill?
An invisible grill is a row of thin stainless steel cables fixed across a balcony, window or terrace opening and held in an aluminium track. From a few steps away the cables almost disappear, so light, air and your view stay open while the opening becomes safe.
Families in Orikkai choose invisible grills to protect small children and pets, stop falls from high-rise balconies and keep a clean, modern look instead of heavy box grills.
Before choosing nets or grills for your Orikkai home, identify the purpose: child protection, pet safety or pigeon exclusion. Ask the installer to check opening sizes, fixing surfaces and exposure to sun and rain. For pets, discuss gaps carefully, especially if you have a small cat or kitten. Keep access for window cleaning and essential maintenance in mind. In shared buildings, check association rules before drilling, and remember that safety barriers do not replace adult supervision.
