More duct area work across Chennai apartments

This second photo set shows YPL Safety Nets fitting duct area pigeon nets and duct area safety nets in Chennai apartments between November 2024 and February 2025, including evening work where the building needed the shaft closed before the next day.

Every photo and the video below are labelled by their camera date. They show the netting, anchoring and tensioning exactly as fitted, without assigning any photo to a property name we have not confirmed.

What the installation video shows

The January 2025 video shows our team tensioning a duct area pigeon net across an apartment shaft: the border wire is fixed first, the net is laced to it side by side, and the full span is checked from the floors above and below before handover.

This is the same method we use on every duct job, whether the shaft is two floors or ten.

Duct area safety nets for children and falling objects

Beyond keeping pigeons out, a duct area safety net stops falling objects from travelling down the shaft and protects children where a duct opening is near a corridor, staircase or window. One net covers both jobs.

The net is UV-stabilised HDPE, fixed to anchored borders so it stays tight and can be re-tensioned later if the building settles.
