Balcony Safety Nets in Chennai – Prices, Materials and What to Check Before You Book

What a balcony safety net does

A balcony safety net closes the open side of a balcony so children, pets and household items cannot fall through or over the railing. The net is fixed to the balcony structure with anchors and cord, and when fitted correctly it is barely visible from inside or outside.

YPL Safety Nets supplies and installs balcony safety nets across Chennai, Chengalpattu and Kanchipuram, with confirmed supply and installation in our Vijayawada service areas.

Current starting prices

Our current website rates for balcony safety nets start at ₹35–₹45 per square foot fitted, plus 5% GST. Children safety nets start at ₹40–₹55 per square foot fitted. The final price depends on the measured opening size, the material you choose and access at your flat – we confirm the exact figure in a written quote after a free site visit.

You can estimate your own cost on the homepage calculator or the full price list before you call.

What to check before you book anyone

• Ask for the price per square foot in writing, including whether GST is extra.
• Ask what warranty is given on the net and the fitting – YPL nets carry a 5-year warranty.
• Measure the opening width and height, not the floor area, so quotes are comparable.
• Check whether the installer will anchor into the wall or the railing, and how corners are closed.
• Confirm the visit and fitting time – our offices work 8 AM to 8 PM, all 7 days.
