Pigeon-Net Repairs in Chennai: Local Assessment & Enquiry Checklist

Owner-confirmed YPL pigeon-net installation example. No repair at this unnamed property is claimed.

Report the problem, not just the product name

Describe visible torn mesh, loose ropes or gaps at corners, pipes or edges. Share when you noticed the change and whether birds are entering again. Photographs taken from indoors help YPL assess the opening without asking you to lean outside.

Do not pull hard on netting, climb furniture near the edge or attempt an external repair. Keep children and pets away from damaged openings.

Real local work examples are installation records

Casagrand Aristo in Alandur and Appaswamy Orchards in Vadapalani have identified pigeon-net installation photos. Olympia Opaline in Navalur has a separate pigeon-net image alongside its invisible-grill record. They show genuine work locations, not evidence of repair visits or the same flat layout.

What to include in a repair enquiry

Send the exact locality and apartment address, safe indoor photographs, affected opening, installation age if known, who fitted the net and any warranty or invoice details. Mention AC servicing or access panels that must remain reachable.

If birds, eggs or chicks are present, say so before any repair or enclosure. Never seal birds behind netting; pause for local animal-welfare advice where necessary.

• Exact locality and district
• Visible damage or gaps and number of openings
• Installer, approximate age and available documents
• Building access restrictions and maintenance needs

Assessment, timing and current approximate rates

Existing YPL repair terms are visits in 2–4 days, subject to locality and schedule, and approximately ₹8–₹45 per sq.ft depending on the damage and work required. Exact cost is confirmed after assessment before starting.

If YPL fitted its own material, maintenance repair work is free for one year from installation; share details so eligibility can be checked. Nets fitted by another company can be assessed for repair or replacement suitability.

• Local repair scope and current approximate rates

Repair or a new installation? Ask before ordering

The net and complete fixing arrangement need assessment; photographs alone do not prove suitability for reuse. Ask for the proposed scope and written quote. Pigeon-exclusion netting is not a person-supporting fall-protection system.
