Turf-net installation, materials & costs
Does YPL supply and install turf nets?
Yes. YPL supplies and installs sports nets, including turf and practice-ground enclosures. Tell us the sport, side coverage, overhead coverage and existing support-frame arrangement. Installation scope and availability are agreed after site assessment; no fixed completion time is promised.
Which materials, colours and brands can I request?
Available sports-net colours are green, black and white; brands include Garware and Tufropes International. Ask for written net material, thickness, mesh and fixing specifications suitable for the sport. The uploaded photos do not confirm a particular brand, rope diameter or mesh size. Do not choose a specification solely from a photograph.
What are the starting sports-net costs?
Owner-confirmed starting material rates are ₹6–₹15 per metre; installation is ₹3–₹8 per metre, quantity-wise. These are not per-square-foot prices or an automatic total for a turf enclosure. Dimensions, net specification, coverage, frame and fixing scope, taxes and any travel charges need a written quote. Chennai starting rates are not confirmed rates for Vijayawada or other cities.
What measurements should I send?
Send the overall ground dimensions, required boundary height, number of sides or panels and whether overhead coverage is needed. Include gates and existing supports in safe site photos. The form below records width, height and panel count as preliminary details; it does not calculate a fixed sports-net price or replace a full site assessment.
Are a frame and overhead nets included?
Do not assume a new frame, poles, foundations, lights, gates or overhead netting are included. Describe what already exists and ask which items are included or excluded in the written scope. Support adequacy and fixing access need assessment before installation.
What local permission checks apply?
Check with the landowner, operator or association before fixing to shared surfaces or changing an enclosure. Ask the building or planning authority responsible for your exact Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram or Vijayawada address about approvals for the proposed frame, structural changes or permanent enclosure. No turf-net-specific ban or blanket permission exemption is established by this page; general building-rule references are not installation approval.
What safety checks matter before and after fitting?
Keep gates and required escape routes accessible. Do not climb, hang from or test sports nets with body weight; a ball-stop net is not a person-supporting fall-protection system. Check for birds and active nests before enclosure. Report torn mesh, loose edges or damaged supports and keep users away from the affected area pending assessment.
Is a warranty certificate available?
YPL sports nets have an owner-confirmed 5-year warranty, and a certificate is available. Ask for the certificate and applicable written terms for your order; this does not establish coverage of frames, civil works or misuse.
Local building-rule references
Use the authority responsible for your exact address. These references do not establish a net-specific permission exemption; check current amendments and your individual proposal.
