Duct area pigeon nets at Ramaniyam Pushkar Phase 1
Chennai service area · Work recorded 31 October 2026 · Owner-supplied photos and video
The job
On 31 October 2026 our team fitted pigeon-exclusion netting across the duct openings at Ramaniyam Pushkar Phase 1 in Chennai. The photos and video on this page were supplied by the owner from that day's work and show the netting running the height of the duct faces.
This is a real work record published with the owner's material. It is not a developer endorsement, and it does not mean every block or duct in the property was covered — the scope is confirmed per job in a written quote.
Why apartment ducts attract pigeons
Open duct shafts and recesses give pigeons sheltered ledges that stay dry and undisturbed. Droppings and nesting material then collect where residents cannot easily clean, and birds move between the duct and nearby balconies or AC ledges.
Netting the duct face stops birds entering the recess while keeping the duct ventilated. The net is a bird-exclusion barrier; it is not a person-supporting fall-protection system and must not be climbed or loaded.
